The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires each of the nationwide consumer reporting companies - Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion - to provide you with a free copy of your credit report, at your request, once every 12 months. The purpose of these reports is to promote the accuracy and privacy of information in the files of the nation's consumer reporting companies.

And who else can verify that but you. So take charge and find out if they got it all right.

Be careful of other sites that might be fake. So to be on the safer side, always go via the above link (Federal Trade commission's site).

For next year, request the reports such that you receive report from one agency in Jan, from another agency in May and from the third agency in Sept. That way you get reports throughout the year!

At the entrance door, they have a coupon for an additional 20% off on all clearance items!!

XBOX stuff is rarely on sale....but looks like they are clearing up the stock. So get this while they have it.

A FREE day at the Miller Park Zoo

Tomorrow is the day my friend that will confirm your belief that you don't have to be a monkey to get free admission to the zoo.

Miller Park Zoo would like to thank the community for it's support by offering a free day. There will be free admission for everyone going to the Zoo on this Sunday, 8th October only.
Zoo Hours: 9:30AM - 4:30PM

There is also a Arts & Crafts show:
Exhibits will be set up throughout the Zoo, with a variety of arts and crafts for sale. This event will take place indoors if weather is inclement. There will be no admission charge to the zoo.

K's Closing Sale(?)

As indicated in this post, the K's Merchandise is closing. The sale started today.
The store was crowded when I went there in the evening.
Furniture is (up to) 50% off and electronics is ONLY 10% for now. Other stuff is 20-30% off.

I did not see anything worth buying since the prices are not really what you would expect from a store that is closing. Time will tell if they go down further... One employee said that they don't have fixed date by which to sell everything. Hence the sale might go on (or shall I say drag on) til Christmas.

You probably know that Walgreens has a lots of stuff every month that is Free After a simple rebate. Well they have lots of (useful) stuff this month too.
What you should note is that some items (like the foundation) might be Free for this week only. and the price might go up next week. So rush to your nearest store...
