Toys "R" US- XBOX Items

The Toys"R"US has some xbox stuff on sale. Here is a list of stuff that I bought today:
XBOX DVD Remote kit (allows you to play DVDs on your xbox)--> $4:98
XBOX Hidef AV Pack (made by Intec) --> $9.98
XBOX Wireless AV selector --> $5.58
XBOX Wireless Controller --> $9.98

At the entrance door, they have a coupon for an additional 20% off on all clearance items!!

The DVD remote kit was the last one. Ask them to check if it is available at other stores. If yes, they can do a truck transfer. Make sure it is the same price ($4.98).
XBOX stuff is rarely on sale....but looks like they are clearing up the stock. So get this while they have it.

A FREE day at the Miller Park Zoo

Tomorrow is the day my friend that will confirm your belief that you don't have to be a monkey to get free admission to the zoo.

Miller Park Zoo would like to thank the community for it's support by offering a free day. There will be free admission for everyone going to the Zoo on this Sunday, 8th October only.
Zoo Hours: 9:30AM - 4:30PM

There is also a Arts & Crafts show:
Exhibits will be set up throughout the Zoo, with a variety of arts and crafts for sale. This event will take place indoors if weather is inclement. There will be no admission charge to the zoo.

K's Closing Sale(?)

As indicated in this post, the K's Merchandise is closing. The sale started today.
The store was crowded when I went there in the evening.
Furniture is (up to) 50% off and electronics is ONLY 10% for now. Other stuff is 20-30% off.

I did not see anything worth buying since the prices are not really what you would expect from a store that is closing. Time will tell if they go down further... One employee said that they don't have fixed date by which to sell everything. Hence the sale might go on (or shall I say drag on) til Christmas.

Sears has the First Alert Fire Extinguisher for a good price of $6.99 No rebate.

Ace hardware has the same thing for 5.99 after a $3 rebate.

Menards has some automotive stuff like Wax/Wax applicator Kit/Tire Cleaner/Car Wash etc for a Free After Rebate or at a decent price of 99cents after rebate. Note the restrictions on the rebate form to make sure that you comply with them.

Cub Foods has some nice selection of shredded or Chunked cheese for 88 cents. These are 8 oz bags by Crystal Farms. This is VERY good price if you ask me.

Walgreens - Free After Rebate..

You probably know that Walgreens has a lots of stuff every month that is Free After a simple rebate. Well they have lots of (useful) stuff this month too.
What you should note is that some items (like the foundation) might be Free for this week only. and the price might go up next week. So rush to your nearest store...
